On the qualitative side, very good impressions and wishes have been extended by the delegates on the Conference's professional handling, management and organization.  Like in any other programs, the organizers, with the help of the conference participants, have identified some areas for improvement to scale up the quality benchmarks for future CPSC and IVETA activities. Some topics pertaining to education for sustainable development (ESD) which are suggested for possible inclusion or emphasis in the future are: informal/non-formal education for ESD, ESD in small island states, more detailed exposition of "Greening" TVET as Best Practice, Green Skills and Green Jobs, how to start transforming TVET programs into sustainable or “green” programs, educating TVET institutions on climate change, and inclusion of "culture" as a dimension of sustainable development.

Major suggestions for improvement highly welcomed by the Organizers are as follows:

  1. Consider the use of round table discussion to allow maximum participation of delegates.
  2. Increase discussion time after every session.
  3. Prepare a concrete and meaningful summary of each session, drawing ideas for future action.
  4. Streamlining of track sessions.
  5. Ensure effectiveness of paper presentations.

Some minor logistics concerns have also been taken up for further improvement including hotel sound system and registration process.

With these, the Organizers would like to generously thank all those who have contributed to the success of the Conference and helped evaluate the proceedings of the Conference constructively. CPSC enthuses everyone to work together and encourage everyone to join in promoting education for sustainable development in the respective country's technical and vocational education and training systems.
